If you feel unwell and have symptoms including a dry cough, sore thorat, or fever you should self-isolate.

  • Call us on 951 239 394, we are here to help

The Spanish health department require you to stay in your apartment. You should call 112 and ask for a coronavirus test to be arranged, this is either a blood test or a mucus smear taken from your nose. Operators speak English as well as other languages.

If you, or your group, are required to self isolate and remain in your apartment we will do everything we can to assist you.  In these circumstances it may be necessary to contact your travel insurance company as additional costs might be incurred.

If your pre-departure test is positive

You must take a test before you return to the UK. If this test is positive you CANNOT travel. You must inform the Spanish Health Authorities. You will be required to isolate here in Spain. If you are staying in BonaSOL managed property we may be able to allow you to remain where you are.

  • If your positive result came from anything other than the 'gold standard' PCR test then seriously consider confirming the result.
  • Contact us as soon as possible. There is a special scheme operating in Andalucia to help tourists who need to remain and self-isolate. We will help you access the scheme and support you as needed.
  • The scheme is designed to support the person who tests positive, it may extend to partner or dependent person. Others travelling with you will be expected to return as planned.

It is your responsibility to keep up to date with any local restrictions, these may change during your stay.  You can find a round-up of the latest ones that affect this part of Spain by clicking here.
