Emergency prepardness

 

Whether you want to brush up skills you already have, or would like to know what to do if the unexpected happens we can provide you, or your community group, with relaxed, easy to follow, essential life-saving skills training.

We have a number of ready made short courses, or can tailor make a course to your specific needs. Typically, our courses last between 3 and 4 hours, and so can be easily delivered either as a morning or afternoon session, or split over two different days. These courses are supervised by our medical adviser.

We don’t offer certificated training, but you will receive a certificate of attendance. There is no examination, but we will ensure you are able to demonstrate the necessary skills. It is lots of fun and of course a chance to meet others.

We offer the following:

‘Save a life’         A basic course to give you essential life saving skills: What to do in an emergency situation until help arrives.

AED training       How to use a semi-automatic external defibrillator.

 

Our training

Generally courses work best with a group of up to eight people, but we can be flexible. We can also add modules that might be of particular interest or relevance. Just use our contact form and we will be in touch. No previous experience is necessary, and we provide full course handouts.

Our training is currently only available in English, although handouts can be multi-lingual. We offer training throughout most of the Costa del Sol. If you run a community group just use the enquire form below and we will contact you with further details. Usually we will come to your venue, but we can also organise suitable places. You will need a space that allows for us to either project onto a screen or use your own TV equipment if you have it. Additionally you will need space on the floor to practice.

Course participants will receive a certificate of attendance after demonstrating a satisfactory level of competence which is assessed during the course on an on-going basis.
