La Cala de Mijas is a short drive, or if you are feeling up to it a nice walk. La Cala has a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. There is a health centre and a new sports park in development. Fuengirola is about a 15 minute drive and Marbella about 20 minutes. There is a convenient access to the motorway which means the the airport is just 25 minutes away.
